This unique
adjustable fixture
offers all the
benefits
of a dedicated
fixture at a much
lower cost
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Features of our
Adjustable Wave
Solder Pallet:
Fits all pallet and
finger conveyor
machines.
The composite
materials are light
weight, chemically
resistant, static
dissipative, and
have a thermal
expansion rate very
close the materials
used in circuit
board fabrication.
Rails with
adjustable clips
allow overhanging
component clearance
as well as easy
loading and
unloading. Spring
loaded ends on rails
ensure even and
consistent PCB
holding.
Stiffeners and frame
sides also act as
solder dams.
Adding crossbars,
overhead supports
and adjustable clips
allows virtually any
size or shape PCB to
be held or supported
throughout the wave
solder process.
Frames are easily
adapted to run on
most semi- automatic
insertion machines.
Provide gold finger
masking and
connector clearance.
Parts Description of
our Adjustable Wave
Solder Pallets:
Frames
Stainless hardware
is captive, meaning
it cannot be
separated from the
unit. In addition
tools are NOT
required to make
adjustments. The
outside frame rails
have a 7/16" PCB
support groove built
in which can be used
for gold finger
masking or connector
clearance. This also
reduces the number
of rails needed per
fixture and allows
maximum use of
machine capacity.
Crossbars
All crossbars come
with two, movable 3"
PCB supports which
also prevent
warping. Different
attachments can also
be added to mask
gold fingers or hold
down components as
required.
Overhead Pickup Bars
Have a hinged
bracket on one end
with a crossbar
holddown on the
opposite end for
easier loading and
unloading. In the
center it has an
adjustable spring
loaded plunger hook
which is used to
support large PCB's
that have at least a
1/8" tooling hole or
slot somewhere near
the center of the
PCB. This prevents
bowing.
Adjustable Rails
These have three
features that truly
make this type of
fixture adjustable:
