Introducing our new
Spring Crossbar
 

 

Our fiberglass Spring Crossbar has a variety of spring loaded Hold Downs designed specifically for your location and type of components. These hold downs are useful for applying constant downward pressure on selected components or they can be manufactured as captive to hold any component upright. Any or all of these hold downs can be custom designed to orientate specific components avoiding improper placement on the PCB. When the crossbar is lowered and latched it is easy to check visually that all components are properly placed on the PCB and held down because they are height adjusted. This also eliminates any overall height issues you may have when going through the wave solder machine. This crossbar is mounted so it opens no more than 10° past 90° so as not to interfere with the next assembler.

Mounting blocks on the pallet are spring loaded to provide lift to the crossbar so it lowers down evenly onto all the components including those located on the hinged side.

This Spring Crossbar can be used in conjunction with our standard pallet materials. Each pallet has two (or four if requested) titanium edges to eliminate conveyor wear, uses our standard Teflon Turnclamps and aluminum stiffeners, and can be engraved with your PCB name/number and flow direction arrows.
