Durostone CAS & CAG 762

Whether the process is Tin Wave Solder, Vapor Phase or InfraRed Reflow, Durostone CAS provides all the dimensional stability at high temperatures coupled with excellent electrostatic dissipation. This ESD Safe composite material is resistant to solvents and cleaning agents and will not pick up solder.  The Durostone CAS co-efficient of thermal expansion has been developed to match that of the PCB providing dimensional stability even in continued use. The CAS can be used at 350° C without distortion.

Mechanical strength is greater than that of Delmat at elevated temperatures due to two factors. First the Durostone CAS uses a thicker strand of glass improving strength after being pressed and secondly it is 100% epoxy. Delmat contains 5% polyester resin which reduces its’ mechanical strength.
